About weaponsIt's what they use to take their lives. They're deadly, and come in different shapes and sizes. They could wipe out the population of a whole country. They're weapons. Weapons were used throughout all the wars in history. But which weapon inventions or innovations helped civilians or soldiers survive throughout the entire war?

The Nuclear bomb |
The Nuclear Bomb (Otherwise known as the Fat Boy) was the reason why the Japanese surrendered. The two nuclear bombs destroyed the two cites Nagasaki and Hiroshima, causing the Japanese to be devastated and automatically surrender. The second phase of World War II was won by the Allied team, due to the "Fat Boy" killing approximately 129,000 people in Japan. Many countries have Nuclear Bombs in case of World War III, or for a war that might break out.

Kamikaze planes |
The Japanese needed a desperate plan to rebel against America's strong force, but barely had materials to make anything. So the Japanese devised a plan to make a group called The Special Attack Force. The SAF were 24 student pilots that volunteered to kamikaze a target (The first one being the USS Columbia, which is a ship.) by intentionally crashing their plane into enemy soldiers or a target. The pilots would wear a headband with the rising sun, a katana, several badges and a belt of a thousand stitches, which was made by one thousand women. They'd fly the plane to where they need to, and keep their eyes open (According to my research, a manual said to never shut your eyes because they would miss their target.) and shout before doing suicide: "Hissatsu!" ("Critical Strike!")
